Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using LiftIQ Field Meter (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Use of the app
LiftIQ Field Meter is a professional field measurement and documentation tool for elevator and escalator specialists. You agree to use the app only for lawful professional purposes consistent with these terms and applicable industry codes, regulations, and jobsite safety requirements.
Subscriptions
LiftIQ Field Meter offers:
- a 14-day free trial;
- Core Individual subscription (monthly or annual);
- Pro Individual subscription (monthly or annual).
Subscriptions are billed through Apple and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your Apple account subscription settings. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and family sharing where applicable, subject to Apple's terms and policies.
Trial
The 14-day trial provides limited saves, exports, history, and timer access so that you can validate device compatibility and the field workflow before subscribing. Trial eligibility is determined by the app and may be limited to one trial period per device or Apple ID.
Professional use and limitations
LiftIQ Field Meter is intended to support field documentation and measurement workflows. It does not replace professional judgment, required code-compliance processes, calibrated dedicated instruments where required by law or contract, or independent engineering review. Measurements produced by the app are subject to device sensor accuracy, ambient conditions, calibration, and user technique.
Data and records
You are responsible for reviewing saved records, exports, and field results before relying on them in reports, decisions, or client deliverables. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of records and exports that are important to you.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, branding, and documentation are the property of LiftIQ and its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app subject to these terms and your active subscription. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, sublicense, or use the app to build a competing product.
Availability and changes
We may add, update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, tiers, or product offerings over time. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to paid subscribers in advance.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiftIQ Field Meter is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that measurements will meet any specific accuracy threshold for a given use.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will LiftIQ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, including loss of data, business interruption, or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. LiftIQ's total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with the app and these terms is limited to the amount you paid LiftIQ for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Enterprise and custom solutions
Team, company, white-label, and enterprise offerings may be available through separate written agreements and are not included in standard individual subscriptions. Contact sales@liftiqpro.com for details.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State you and LiftIQ agree to in any enterprise agreement; otherwise, by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app and our offerings evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
